Candle Light Service |
Our Candle Light Service has been held annually for as many years as
can be remembered for the families we have served. It is a time
for the McCormick Family to acknowledge that this year there will be
an empty chair at your holiday table, and to let you know that we
understand and care.
In
the context of gentle readings and quiet music, when your loved one's
name is called, we invite you, your family and as many of your support
group as would like to attend, to come forward, light a candle and
remember that sometime Christmas hurts and that it is ok to feel upset
when everyone around you seems to be celebrating.
This non-denominational service is very healing and flows thoughtfully
around most cultures needs. |
