ANAS, Olga Vieno Annikki. With deepest sorrow, we announce the death of Olga Vieno Annikki Anas on June 6, 2010 at the Palliative Care Unit of Bumaby General Hospital. Born in Finland on March31, 1921, Olga passed away quietly with her family and special family friend Gogie Laursen at her side. Olga was predeceased by husband Allan and daughter-in law Lori, leaving behind her sons Ari, Asko, Arto (Alicia), beloved nephews Ryon and Stevan and in Finland sister Elsa and niece Sinikka. Olga was a true lady with grace, dignity, and a wry sense of humor. She will be sorely missed. There will be no service at her request; in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Finnish-Canadian Rest Home Association in her name. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Finnish Manor for their wonderful care and support. A celebration of Olga's life will be held on Sunday, June 13 from noon to 5 pm at 3503 East 47th Avenue, Vancouver.
