ISHOLA, Ganiyu Born December 12, 1939 in Oshogobo, Nigeria and passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 8, 2010. This after a brave battle with Amyloidosis at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife Andrea and daughter Suzann (Tomas). Born in Nigeria, he obtained his engineering degree in Czechoslovakia where he also married his wife. Mr. Ishola immigrated to Canada in 1979 and received his Master of Science degree in 1986 from U of C and continued to work for such companies as Petro-Canada and Chemetics. His engineering expertise led him to establishing his own company for the past 15 years. He was a proud inventor and held 4 patents both in the US and Canada. Mr. Ishola had a passion for politics, engaging all those around him in lengthy discussions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Amyloidosis Support Network Inc. Special thank you to his loyal friends, loving neighbors and homecare workers/staff who supported him throughout his illness. Celebration of his life will be held from 2:30-4:30pm on Tuesday the 15th of June at the Treetops common room located at 101 Parkside Drive, Port Moody.
