HUNT, Laurel Novello April 11, 1926 - June 24, 2010 Place of Birth: Swift Current, Saskatchewan. On this sad occasion, we announce the passing of our dear Laurel after a long battle with pneumonia and other health problems. She leaves behind to mourn her Husband Ernest of 60 years; Sons Gordon (Caroline), and Ralph (Carolyn); Granddaughters Katherine (Darren), Susan (Aaron), Amy; Grandsons Brian (Michelle) and Andrew, along with Great-granddaughters Allison and Emily. Laurel served 2 years in the CWAC during World War 2 rising to the rank of Corporal. After the war, she was a nurse in training for 2 years at Riverview Hospital. She left the hospital to get married and raise her family. A special thank you goes to the staff at the ICU at Burnaby General Hospital and Eagle Ridge Hospital. There will be no service by request. A Celebration of Life for Laurel is being planned. Laurel will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
