Each year, Canadian Warbrides gather at Burquitlam Funeral Home to remember the sacrifices that they and their Veteran husbands made.  The event has gathered guests from as far away as Nova Scotia and the Cenotaph marker is the only one in Canada that acknowledges Warbrides along with other Veterans.  Phil Peterson (shown) is the brother of music-legend Oscar Peterson.
