BINGLEY, George, June 30, 1934 - June 25, 2010 It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a friend to many. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 43 years, Wilma; sons Jeff (Di) and Randy; grandchildren Ryan, Mathew, Chantal, and Dez; and great-granddaughter Mikaila. He will also be missed by his brother-in-law Hank, wife Sheila, and their families, as well as his many surviving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his pet Katie. George worked hard in the sheet metal trade and enjoyed 38 years at the PNE part time and BC Place. He also enjoyed coaching hockey in Coquitlam for several years. After retirement George was a volunteer driver for the Cancer Society and worked in the kitchen at U.G.M. George is predeceased by daughter Lorna in 1986, brother Jimmy, sisters Mary, Elsie, and Thelma. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on July 3rd at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory will be appreciated.
