GORDER, Janice (nee Grassom) March 29, 1958 Jan passed away suddenly on July 24, 2010 at the age of 52. She is predeceased by her father Jack and survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Erwin; her two children, Tiffany and Ryan; her mother Netta; sister Jacki (Rick); nieces Jeninne, Shawna and Mikayla; and great nieces Amber and Brittany. Born and raised in the town of Stenhousemuir, Scotland, her family moved to Toronto in 1967. She then moved to Vancouver on her own at the age of 19. She started working as an adjuster at ICBC, and later met Erwin and started their lives and family together. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, aunt, and avid cat lover (Molson). She enjoyed loud and `good' music, reading, gardening, gossip magazines, and an array of reality TV shows. She will be deeply missed and will always be in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 31st at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on her behalf to the SPCA.
